Hyundai is putting in place a comprehensive compensation program for past and current Hyundai vehicle owners affected by the fuel consumption rating adjustment with a personalized, pre-paid credit card. Compensation is based on the average fuel price in your region and the vehicle’s actual kilometres driven. You will be able to apply for a new pre-paid credit card at any time for as long as you own the vehicle. For convenience, Hyundai recommends owners apply for a new pre-paid credit card annually or every 20,000 km. If you are a prior owner of an affected vehicle and have already sold your car, you will be reimbursed using the same formula.
